Before changing settings or replacing ink, print a test page directly from the printer's control panel or built-in maintenance menu, if available.

What kind of blank output do you have?
Completely blank
No visible ink or toner. Compare the printer's own test page first.
Only black is missing
Colors may print but black text does not.
Some pages are blank
Other pages print normally. Check document/page range, blank pages in the file, print preview, application, and paper/settings.
New cartridge or toner just installed
Check that all protective seals and tape were removed and the cartridge is correctly seated. Do not follow brand-specific removal steps from this page.
